The Story
Global Shore Group was born from a profound realization by our founder and CEO, Ximena Delgado. As a Regional HR VP overseeing multiple countries, Ximena faced one of the most challenging crises a company can endure: the need to downsize and lay off a significant portion of its workforce. She traveled across four countries, delivering difficult news to dedicated employees—individuals with families, dreams, and aspirations whom she had personally developed, nurtured, and supported.

This experience was not only professionally taxing but deeply personal, as she also had to part ways with her own HR team. The catalyst for these layoffs was the intense economic pressures that startups often face. High personnel costs, one of the top three expenses for any company, were cited as the primary reason.

Witnessing the profound impact of these decisions on both the employees and the company's future, Ximena envisioned a better way. She believed it was possible to transform how businesses manage labor costs, allowing them to reduce expenses without resorting to mass layoffs. This conviction led her to establish Global Shore Group, with the aim of helping companies optimize their operations while preserving their talent pool.
Our Team
With more than 12 years of experience in Human Resources, Ximena Delgado is a visionary leader who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Global Shore Group. As a former Regional HR VP in Corporate America, she managed operations across multiple countries, developing and implementing strategies that enhanced organizational performance and employee satisfaction.

Ximena has been instrumental in driving significant HR initiatives, including talent development programs, organizational restructuring, and cultural transformations. Her hands-on experience in managing complex HR challenges has equipped her with unique insights into optimizing workforce dynamics and reducing operational costs without sacrificing employee well-being.
